Catherine holds an MLIS degree from Simmons University.

As the Digital Library Assistant at the Cape Ann Museum, Catherine built the digital collections and website for the Cape Ann Museum Library & Archives (CAM L&A), which can be seen here. Along with website and database work, she wrote a metadata creation guidelines document to standardize all metadata and cataloging work at the CAM L&A. She also digitized materials to FADGI guidelines and oversaw digitization work done by interns and volunteers.

She also works privately as an archives consultant.
